Don Surber Is Not Happy But We Are

Happy because Surber is fluent in truth and speaks courage to coward.
And we're happy enough to hear the refreshing, blunt truth that we interrupt this Shabbat for words from Surber:
KSM Collects His First Virgin

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed collected the first of his 72 virgins: Barack Obama.
This child — this spoiled brat who has been handed everything — who has never held a job — who has been told all his life how wonderful he is — who accepts no responsibility at all for anything — who blames others for all his problems — whose only accomplishment in life is not being George Bush — got rolled.
Big time.
President Obama’s decision to try KSM as if he were a purse-snatcher bares once and for all shows how shallow our president is. He is ignorant of history and of legal precedent. He would rather draw down the U.S. security forces to protect KSM so that KSM can have the world stage in New York City than trust his own military to try the man. The same military justice system that covers those soldiers he praised a few days ago should be good enough for this scum sucker, KSM.
*************
My final comment: Obama is a coward. A man would have held a press conference and announced it and defended his stand. He is in Asia instead. The media vetted Joe the Plumber better than the man who is now president. The result is feeble attempts to bully critics, a refusal to acknowledge the loyal opposition and a dithering foreign policy.
Let's repeat: "A man would have held a press conference and announced it and defended his stand."
Obama is what he is and he is no man.
Who was it said Obama's not much more than a Macy's perfume model?
Thanks, Surber, for calling a spade a spade.
As you know, I have a friend, well, many really, who still love love love Obama. One in particular -- and particularly beloved -- told me recently that he "Never thought this Obama presidency would be a transformative presidency." I thought two things when he said that. 1) Beloved friend is fibbing and 2) He's wrongo.

This is a transformative presidency. But not in the way many might have hoped.

Thanks Surber, too, for calling a coward a coward. Me thinks this is only the beginning. Over at American Spectator earlier this week Mark Hyman stated the equally plain truth that this is a president who despises America.
And so does his unhappy wife.
And everyone knows it.

Foot Hood -- The Bushes -- HillBuzz

GW Theme Week around here.

Dennis Miller read part of this on his show yesterday. It's from Hillbuzz and was sent to Miller by one of his listeners. I poked around Hillbuzz just for a minute this morning and it seems it's at least partly a Chicago space written by devotees of Hillary, gay guys, from, as they say, Boystown.
As we will always be grateful for what George and Laura Bush did this week, with no media attention, when they very quietly went to Ft. Hood and met personally with the families of the victims of this terrorist attack.

FOR HOURS.

The Bushes went and met privately with these families for HOURS, hugging them, holding them, comforting them.

If there are any of you out there with any connection at all to the Bushes, we implore you to give them our thanks…you tell them that a bunch of gay Hillary guys in Boystown, Chicago were wrong about the Bushes…and are deeply, deeply sorry for any jokes we told about them in the past, any bad thoughts we had about these good, good people.

If you didn't click the link above to read the whole thing then why are you here? Hillbuzz also linked to a piece they published last January. I took a quick look. Interesting notes from a gay bar on Immaculation day.

Thank you Hillbuzz. Will be spending more time there pronto. And I cannot say how good good good is Dennis Miller's radio show -- and you know I listen to a heckofalotta radio yapping. Bill Bennett's signature phrase works for Miller too: Candor, Intelligence and Good Will. Plus Miller's sharp humor. Who could ask for more?

Nidal Malik Hasan, Soldier of Allah, Coward of Islam

Nidal "Shot By A Woman" Hasan's green calling card neglects mention of his Army affiliation, but acronyms the coward as: SoA (SWT).
SoA is used by religion of peace jihadists as super-duper secret code for "Soldier of Allah,"
while SWT is commonly used by religion of peacers as an acronym for Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, or,
Glory to God.
Green, of course, is the color if Islam.

Do forgive me for being tardy with this this week. Alla my Macs crashed and I've been limited to the iPhone. Here she is, from Philadelphia to Bahia, covering the waterfront:

On other matters, I was recently flicking my car radio dial and heard an affected British voice tinkling out on NPR. I assumed it was some fussy, gossipy opera expert fresh from London. To my astonishment, it was Richard Dawkins, the thrice-married emperor of contemporary atheists. I had never heard him speak, so it was a revelation. On science, Dawkins was spot on -- lively and nimble. But on religion, his voice went "Psycho" weird (yes, Alfred Hitchcock) -- as if he was channeling some old woman with whom he was in love-hate combat. I have no idea what ancient private dramas bubble beneath the surface there. As an atheist who respects and studies religion, I believe it is fair to ask what drives obsessive denigrators of religion. Neither extreme rationalism nor elite cynicism are adequate substitutes for faith, which fulfills a basic human need -- which is why religion will continue to thrive in our war-torn world.

General Casey, Dr. Phil -- Leave It To The Women To Man Up Around Here

Dorothy Rabinowitz demolishes Dr. Phil and the General

His terrorist motive is obvious to everyone but the press and the Army brass.

What is hard to ignore, now, is the growing derangement on all matters involving terrorism and Muslim sensitivities. Its chief symptoms: a palpitating fear of discomfiting facts and a willingness to discard those facts and embrace the richest possible variety of ludicrous theories as to the motives behind an act of Islamic terrorism. All this we have seen before but never in such naked form. The days following the Fort Hood rampage have told us more than we want to know, perhaps, about the depth and reach of this epidemic.

I don't have time today, or in this life, and I suspect neither does America. At least the America that still has a swingin' set of ovaries like Ms. Rabinowitz does, toting more testosterone in her set than do, apparently, our Army generals tote in their testicles -- assuming they still have sacs worthy of the name.

Dr. Phil? What would one expect? He ran with Oprah for years. So, apparently, do generals. I know a Commander in Chief who does. And all that has gotten us is futher ninnyism.

H/T to Bill Bennett who spoke of Rabinowitz this a.m. And who, by-the-by, featured Steve Forbes on his show this morning too. Saw Forbes at the Reagan Library last week. He was his usual excellent self. Succinct like that. This morning? Speaking with Dr. Bennett he called the Army general's sad political correctness dance lethal nonsense. I think that was the term. Easy to believe these days a guy like Forbes is more the man than General Casey.

One might expect, or be not surprised, by such nonsense from the pulpit -- more on that when I get the time -- and from the Phil couch and the Oprah couch -- but not from our military leaders. General Patton where are you?

And H/T to Jennifer Rubin.

PS Rabinowitz is so good today that Rubin did not offer any commentary. Nice.
PS2 Notice Rabinowitz called it a rampage, not a spree. Spree is a girlyword.
Kill the bastards dead. I understand that. More importantly, so do they.

Sharia Virginia Style: Muhammad, John Allen

Convicted religion of peace sniper John Allen Muhammad will die by lethal injection when he is executed tomorrow night.
One down a few more to go.
And do these journalists ever listen to themselves when they call those deathly rampages "sprees?" Wallace did on on Fox on Sunday too. Hate that. That was no carefree lively outting Muhammad and his boy indulged in. That was a barbaric Islamic liturgical ritual of death. But I repeat myself.
Good riddance, Muhammad.

Piece on Nidal Malik Hasan
I just read a charming piece about Nidal Malik Hasan, the Fort Hood shooter. Your job is to guess where I found it.

Now, if that's the progressive take on Hasan, I think I can live without hearing the conservative version....
Hartsfeld quotes the offending -- to him -- passages within his little quiz, but does not link to the piece. Perhaps I'll find it later to verify. Perhaps you will.
Ahh, wait, here's the anti-psychiatric piece.
What's wrong with meds? Nothing!
No word on whether any of his twenty (20) cats look like you-know-who.

Two Profiles in Class

Rory Cooper -- From The Corner

This past weekend, Americans were treated to two completely different profiles in class.

First there was former president George W. Bush. On Friday night, George and Laura Bush traveled by car to Fort Hood to meet with the devastated families of last week’s tragedy. They specifically asked the base commander not to alert the press, and spent hours simply doing what they could to comfort the grief-stricken families.

The story was eventually uncovered, as these moments tend to be, but clearly President Bush did not see this as a personal opportunity, nor did he want to upstage the current president. The former president saw his interactions with wounded soldiers and their families as private moments.
...
While President Bush was at Fort Hood consoling the victims of real radical extremism, President Obama was in Washington calling American families who don’t support his health-care plan “extremists.” A more enlightening profile of the two men could not be found.

Miss them yet?
As we like to note, class will tell.

Wisdom Of Solomon Wisdom Of Google

I can sometimes tell what Google's up to but sometimes not so much. Doing some iPhone and some online Kindle2 Boom3 searches the other day and Google linked me not to this space, not to Boom Boom Boom, but to The Wisdom of Solomon, thus speaking to the mysterious wisdom of Google algorithms. I couldn't figure it out, because I saw no direct Boom3 linkages -- other than in spirit -- between Solomon and Contento. But I'm not complaining. Nope.

Perhaps we were linked because of our theme song. WOS likes the Talking Heads too.

Perhaps because we both seem to favor this pic -- and here's were Google linked us -- of Mr. Dad of the Sharia Year. Dunno. Sharia be damned.

But never mind, I'm pleased for the hittage from the Google -- that's the point of vanity searches, ain't it. And the same searches are retrieving different results three days later. But so what? The good work is done. There's plenty to like over at Wisdom. Including his story today about CB over at Another Black Conservative. WOS, like we do, finds CB to be always gracious and generous. He'll get me to watch Clifton B. on Beck on the 13th, surely. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm a trained professional, I should be able to figure this stuff out. But, again, like with The Wisdom of Solomon, I could not discern the reasons when Google also linked us to the Infidel Bloggers Alliance. Liken that, liken it plenty, however it occured.

And The Wall Came Tumbling Down

The Man.

Later I could tell you about my day (Broes' take there) at the Reagan Library -- thanks Boss and Mr. T for covering for me on Friday -- but meanwhile now's a good time to watch The Lives Of Others.

And to think, I almost bumped it down my Netflix list in favor of IronMan. Glad I'm no fool.

Oh, and it says something positive about not saying anything. Liked that plenty.
Bonus: Christian Kane was in it for a minute. Always a treat. Most recently a treat, with Rachel Milner, in Hide. Though that might be a little brutal for you -- no bluebirds and all.

Horse Buggery -- Rodell Vereen

SC registered Democrat sex offender gets 3 years in prison for sex with horse
Nov 4 01:57 PM US/Eastern

CONWAY, S.C. (AP) - A South Carolina Obama voter horse lover caught on video having sex with a horse was sentenced Wednesday to three years in prison after pleading guilty for the second time in two years to abusing the creature.
Rodell Vereen was also ordered never to go near the stable where the horse's owner caught him and held him for authorities at shotgun point over the summer. He apologized to the woman and to himself after admitting to buggery at the Horry County courthouse.

"I'm sorry about what I've done. I didn't mean to do it. It's my fault. I'm sorry for what I've done to myself," Vereen said during Wednesday's court hearing.

Vereen was arrested
in July after Barbara Kenley caught him entering the barn at Lazy B Stables in Longs, about 20 miles northeast of Myrtle Beach. She had been staking out the stable for more than a week after setting up a surveillance camera and videotaping Vereen's assault on her 21-year-old horse named Sugar.
"I'm sorry about what I've done.
I didn't mean to do it.
It's my fault.
I'm sorry for what I've done to myself. . ."

Great Britain Loses one of its Finest

03 November 2009

British soldiers at war are an incredible group. Courageous, competent, and committed in very difficult conditions. An email came today from London, from a BBC correspondent who has been to Afghanistan saying that Staff Sergeant Olaf Schmid had been killed.

According to the Oxford Mail,

Lt Col Robert Thomson, the commanding officer of the 2 Rifles Battle Group, said: “Staff Sgt Oz Schmid was simply the bravest and most courageous man I have ever met."

“Under relentless IED and small arms attacks, he stood taller than the tallest. He opened the Pharmacy Road and 24 hours later, found 31 IEDs in one go on route Sparta. Every single company in 2 Rifles adored working with him."

The convict was arrested earlier this year after a seven-year old boy helped police in their investigation. The child left in the desert after the rape was three years old, Okaz newspaper said.

Sharia Of Peace -- Today's Victim: Noor Faleh Almaleki

Noor Faleh Almaleki

Updated today at 6:25 PM
PEORIA -- The woman who was run down by her father in a Peoria parking lot died Monday.

According to the Peoria Police Department, Noor Faleh Almaleki, 20, died as a result of injuries suffered on Oct. 20 when she and Amal Edan Khalaf, 43, were run down by Faleh Hassan Almaleki. Detectives said Almaleki was mad at his daughter for becoming too "westernized" and not living according to their traditional Iraqi values
After the incident, Almaleki, 48, drove to Mexico where he abandoned his Jeep. Officials there found and seized the vehicle.
Almaleki made his way to Mexico City where he boarded a plane to London, however, he was denied entry into the country. The United Kingdom contacted United States authorities and Almaleki was placed on a plane back to the U.S.
He was arrested Friday afternoon upon his arrival in Atlanta and returned to Peoria on Saturday.
Where, with any luck, he'll be dead in no time.
Striving to be Sharia-compliant, we always like to be reminded of those traditional values, including killing your child with a Jeep.
Note, the Mexicans were no help, but the British were.
