A Friend Writes From Japan

This morning the family packed their bags and were ready to evacuate to Iowa for the rest of the school year. I was staying until mandatory evacuation.

This afternoon the evacuation is on hold. Specifically, teachers are not leaving at this time and kids will go back to school soon. There is also some uplifting news today on the reactors.

I agree with not spending 35 million to evacuate under these conditions.
That's today's news from Yokosuka-shi Kanagawa, Japan.
