I served with Mike at Ft. Carson and Ft. Bliss and he was an amazing person and soldier. We rode and crashed dirt bikes at Bliss and made the move to Colorado together. I saw Mike go from wild child to loving husband and father. He was a great friend and will be missed by all. Brave Rifles.

At home, Michael Ruoff was never far from his daughters, Grace and Danielle, and his wife of 11 years, Tracy. Dozens of pictures displayed at the service showed the four together, always smiling.Read more about Army Staff Sergeant Michael L. Rouff here and here.
Parrish said that smile carried over to Ruoff’s life in the Army where he was known as someone others could count on.
