IDF Rocks to ke$ha -- TikTok
Carl in Jerusalem sends us notice of the vid of Israeli Soldiers dancing to ke$ha's pop video.
Apparently this is scandalous, these young men dancing.
Yet, I remain unscandalized.
Not like they're beheading anyone in the name of Allah.

Or shooting a hostage in the neck. Allahu Akbar.

And no, I didn't know ke$ha before this morning.
ke$ha? Just more faux scandal in the pop world.
It is kindda a catchy song, though.
She does have an odd sluttish appeal.
Makes ya wanna get up and groove like the old days, ain't it?

Yom HaShoah
Yom HaShoah
Around here we're just back at it from a two week Pesach-Easter-Spring break, a break that began with Governor Mrs. Todd Palin in Searchlight and ends this morning with observance of Yom HaShoah -- Holocaust Remembrance Day. Somehow those seem like fitting bookends to the break.
Thinking today of the 80 high school kids I know who are in Israel studying this semester. And thinking too of the one American kid I know who's in the IDF. That's him on the left.
