Shabbat Shalom -- Old Jaffa
Old Jaffa: I remember it as insanely humid and stinky stink stinky and it was walking distance to Tel Aviv and hitching distance to Jerusalem and my Israeli/Jew/Arab neighborhood of choice. There was a guy cooling off his horse in the water at the beach and the coffee was strong and the beer cold. I wanted to stay longer and I want to go back.
